Anthony M. Bean, PhD

Anthony M. Bean, PhD is a licensed Clinical Depth Psychologist who is the author of two books and provides both therapy and assessment. His specialities include working with children, teens, and adults with anxiety, depression, autism, video game addiction, and geek therapy and therapeutically he utilizes Jungian and Archetypal psychology. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and playing strategy-based video games. He is also the author of two books linking video games with psychology.

C. Holiday Bean, PsyD is a licensed Clinical Forensic Psychologist who specializes in trauma, children, family therapy, and parent coaching. She utilizes a variety of techniques while in session and her interpersonal style is very relational. When she is not chasing around her young son and four pets, Dr. Bean is an avid quilter and crafter and loves trying out new recipes.

Alexandra Marks, PsyD

Alexandra Marks, PsyD is the Director of Testing for The Telos Project. Since graduating from LaSalle University with a doctorate in psychology her focus has been in forensics and assessment. When she isn't writing reports she also provides individual therapy with a Cognitive Behavioral approach. In her free time she enjoys reading Harry Potter and relaxing with her family.

Patrick Weaver, LPC

Patrick Weaver is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with “challenging” kids and teens, as well as their families, to resolve difficult behavioral problems at home and school. Since graduating from Dallas Baptist University with a Masters degree in Counseling, he has worked primarily with children and adolescents involved with Juvenile Justice and DFPS. He conducts testing for various issues and provides counseling for individuals, couples, and families. In his free time, he mulls over witty comebacks that came too late.

Rosana Meza, LPC

Rosana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and a member of the Texas Counselor’s Association and the Texas Association for Play Therapy. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Regis University in Denver, CO and her clinical training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy through Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress in Seattle, WA. In addition, she has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Somatic Transformation. With over thirteen years of experience in working with children, teens, families and adult clients Rosana utilizes a combination of both cognitive behavioral, somatic and play based interventions in order to create opportunities to express emotions, find meaning and instill hope for positive change.

Veronica Carbajal, LPC

Veronica Carbajal, LPC is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University in 2012 and became fully licensed in 2013. Therapeutically she focuses on children, teens, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma and mood disorders, but does work with other diagnoses. When working with clients she uses many different modalities, but prefers CBT and mindfulness. She is also fully trained in EMDR. In her off time she loves to read, cook, and craft.

Nerak Dickerson, PsyD

Nerak Dickerson, PsyD, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She obtained her Masters from Webster University in 2005 and became licensed in 2010. She then pursed a doctoral degree from The Texas School of Professional Psychology – Argosy University, graduating in 2014. Since that time, her focus has been in forensics and assessments. She provides individual therapy with a Person Centered or Cognitive Behavioral approach. In her free time, she enjoys all things Marvel, spending time with family, cooking, and snuggling with her Italian Greyhound.

Samm Steere, LPC

Samm Steere is a Licensed Professional Counseling who received her Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Denver in Denver, CO. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of environments and levels of care. Her goal is to create a collaborative and safe environment to assist individuals in exploring any struggles or goals they may have including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem/self-worth, self-harm and suicidality, life transitions, and identify exploration to name a few. Samm utilizes multiple counseling models/techniques when working with individuals with some examples being Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma informed techniques and strength based models. In her free time, Samm enjoys spending time with her friends and family, being outdoors, reading, playing games of any kind, and listening to music.

Erica Salinas, LPC

Erica Salinas is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Registered Play Therapist, and trained in EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). She received her MA in Counseling at Texas Woman’s University. In her time as a counselor, she has worked with children and teens from “hard places” addressing separation from families, loss, trauma, abuse, anxiety, and depression.  As a play therapist, she believes that play is the language of children and utilizes play with children and teens, primarily following a CBT directive modality but utilizing other modalities when necessary. When not rushing to get her two kids to soccer practice, games, and helping with homework, Erica loves spending time with her son and daughter having moving and binge watching Netflix shows.

Kassie Means, Psy.D.

Dr. Kassie Means is a Post Doctorate counselor, under the supervision of Dr. C. Holiday Bean and Dr. Alexandra Marks. She enjoys providing comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her clinical training in psychological evaluations allowed her to gain experience in working with the neurodiverse community, specifically autism, and providing evaluations from a trauma-informed lens. As a therapist, she is passionate about advocating for and working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. She utilizes EMDR, sand tray, and TF-CBT therapy modalities. Dr. Means received her Masters degree from Northwest University in Kirkland, WA in 2020. She earned her Psy.D. from Northwest University in 2022. Her free time is spent with her two children, who love to find new adventures to explore. She also has 5 Australian Shepherds who have proven to be the best supporters of relaxing weekends at home.

Kait Batts, LCSW-S

Kait Batts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Master’s degree at The University of Texas in Austin, TX in 2018. Throughout her career, Kait has worked with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ issues, psychosis and personality disorders. Kait is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for children and adults and has training in TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention). Kait enjoys supporting the local Fort Worth art scene and is also an embroidery artist. She also loves to hike with her husband and dog and does Yoga and Pilates. Kait additional provides supervision for Clinical Licensure.

Natasha Pooran

Psychological Intern

Natasha started her journey at The Telos Project during her senior year at the University of Texas at Arlington, as the first undergraduate intern of The Telos Project. Upon graduating with an Honors Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience in May of 2021, she has transitioned onto the team as a Psych Technician. She currently aids clinicians in scoring psychological tests and assists in research. She plans to apply to Clinical Psychology Ph.D. programs in the Fall of 2021. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends.

Alan Sivakumaran, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor, Child-Centered Play Therapist

Alan Sivakumaran is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Child-Centered Play Therapist. He received his Master’s degree at The University of North Texas in 2014. Throughout his career, Alan has worked with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced depression, anxiety, addiction, self-esteem, grief, body image, trauma, as well as multicultural and adjustment disorders. Alan is currently being supervised by Meredith Ivy to obtain his full certification as a Registered Play Therapist. Recently Alan became Culturally Competent in Geek Therapy through Geek Therapeutics. He is in the process of becoming a certified Geek Therapist. Alan utilizes a variety of treatment methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Geek Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention. In his free time, Alan enjoys running, reading, watching movies and tv (Marvel, Disney, Pixar), shopping, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends.

Sydney Gresham, PsyD

Sydney Gresham, PsyD is a postdoctoral psychologist under the supervision of Dr. C Holiday Bean and Dr. Alexandra Marks. Dr. Gresham earned her Masters degree and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. With a passion for providing psychological evaluations to children, adolescents and adults, she also has a wide range of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults and older adults in inpatient, outpatient and forensic settings providing individual and group therapy. As a therapist, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Therapy but will also utilize other modalities when it is in the best interest of the individual. Her philosophy is to see her clients through a trauma-informed lens to create a collaborative and safe environment. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her cat, Ashes.  

Jessica Willis, Psy.D.

Jessica Willis, PsyD is a postdoctoral psychologist who has a passion for working with marginalized children, adolescents, and adults. She received her MA and PsyD in Clinical Psychology at Alliant International University, San Diego. She is supervised by Dr. C. Holiday Bean and Dr. Alexandra Marks. Dr. Willis has a wide range of clinical experiences from working with foster youth in residential settings, to active duty service members and veterans in inpatient and outpatient settings. She specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat mood disorders, disordered eating, and substance abuse, and has extensive training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to target the treatment of traumatic experiences. Dr. Willis also utilizes her trauma-informed lens to provide psychological evaluations to assist in further treatment of individuals. In her free time, she enjoys the duality of either watching a Disney movie with her very cuddly dogs, or finding a new and exciting outdoor adventure.
